Church Ministry
CHURCH COUNCIL
Representatives elected by the congregation who review policies, procedures and programs of the congregation.
WORSHIP & MUSIC
Assists the Pastor with worship needs and provides appropriate worship books, music, paraments & other supplies. Also under Worship & Music are the following Eucharistic Ministry Teams: Altar Guild, Ushers, Acolytes & Visitors.
EDUCATION & MINISTRY
Provides opportunities for education and spiritual growth. Christian Education of Adults & Youth, Bible Study, Women of ELCA, Small Group Ministries including Fabric of Faith, Book Club, Men's Breakfasts.
COMMUNICATION
Provides an effective communications strategy for the church and its internal and external audiences. Maintains the Website, Facebook , Clippings, Computers and Bulletin Boards.
EVANGELISM
Assists in reaching out to and welcoming of new members through the Hospitality and New Members Program.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH & SOCIAL MINISTRY
Extends Christian compassion to individuals and families who are in need by supporting community and world-wide programs. Family Promise, AA, Charter School, Boy & Girl Scouts, Food Bank and Community Luncheons & Meetings.
PROPERTY
Maintains and repairs the church facilities.
FINANCE
Oversees all financial affairs of the Congregation through the Stewardship, Finance and Endowment Committees.
LONG RANGE PLANNING
Plans the direction and future of Redeemer, its worship, its ministries and its property.
STAFF SUPPORT
Acts as a liaison between the congregation, employees and the Pastor for all issues of mutual concern.
